Junagadh has 10 Assembly Constituencies. These are Junagadh, Keshod, Kodinar, Maliya, Manavadar, Mangrol, Somnath, Talala, Una and Visvadar. The BJP has won in 8 constituencies in 2007 elections. The Congress candidates Chavada Jawaharbhai Pethljibha and Barad Bhagavanbhai Dhanabhai have won from Manavadar and Talala constituencies. All other segments were bagged by the BJP. The winners from the BJP are Mashru Mahendrabhai Leeladharbhai, Makwana Vandnaben Mansukhbhai, Solanki Dinubhai Boghabhai, Rajani Lavajibhai Thakarshiba, Kargatiya Bhagavanvanjibhai Lak, Jotva Rajshibhai Virabhai, Rathod Kalubhai Chanabhai and Bhalala Kanubhai Mepabhai.
