Following are details of winners and losers of Assembly Elections 2007 in Patan and Porbandar districts of Gujarat. The BJP has been dominating the Patan district politics by bagging more seats than the Congress. The BJP has secured 4 seats out of a total of 6 Assembly Constituencies in 2007 elections. The segments won by BJP in Patan district are Chanasma, Patan, Radhanpur and Sidhpur. The Congress candidates who won from Sami and Vagdod constituencies are Rathod Bhavsinhbhai Dahyabhai and Thakor Jodhaji Galabji. See completed details below:

Winners and losers from Patan district are:

1) Radhanpur Constituency: Chaudhari Shankarbhai Lagdhirb of the Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) has defeated Desai Raghubhai Merajbhai, an Independant candidate.

2) Chanasma Constituency: Desai Maljibhai Devjibhai of the Congress was defeated by Patel Rajnikant Somabhai of the BJP.

3) Vagdod Constituency: Thakor Jodhaji Galabi of the Indian National Congress has defeated Thakor Gopalji Pradhanji of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

4) Sami Constituency: Rathod Bhavsinhbhai Dahyabhai of the Congress has defeated Thakor Dilipkumar Virajibhai of the BJP.

5) Patan Constituency: Patel Anandiben Mafatbhai of the BJP has defeated Patel Kantilal nanalal of the Congress.

6) Sidhpur Constituency: The BJP nominee Jay Narayan Vyas has defeated the Congress candidate Balvantsinh Chandansinh Rajput of the Congress Party.

Porbandar district : Winners and Runners

1) Kutiyana Constituency: Odedara Karsanbhai Dulabhai of the BJP has defeated Antroliya Sukabhai Rambhai of the Congress Party.

2) Porbandar Constituency: The BJP candidate Odera Shantaben Bharatbhai was defeated by the Congress nominee Modhwadiya Arjunbhai Devabhai.
