Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has come out with a mobile app to solve various problems being faced by the people of Hyderabad. The GHMC is launching an app called My GHMC to provide various civic services in twin cities.
My GHMC app will be available for android phones and can be accessed through Google Play Store from 15th July 2016. iOS version of MyGHMC app will also be launched soon by the authorities. Following services can be availed through My GHMC app:
1) Complaints on waster disposal can be sent with photos to the related officials. The location will be identified through GPS and Geo Pinning and medical officer concerned will respond to the complaint.
2) Street lights will be provided if the issue comes to the notice of GHMC through this app.
3) Birth Certificate and Death Certificate can be downloaded from the app after the signatures of officials concerned have been completed.
4) People can get the status of LRS (Land Regularisation Scheme) applications through MyGHMC app.
5) Apart from these, payment of property tax, dues and receipts can be accessed from My GHMC app. More services will be included in the app in due course of time.
