The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which set a record win in New Delhi Assembly elections 2015, has announced the new cabinet to be sworn in on 14th February 2015. The Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Najeeb Jung received a list of six persons who may take oath with along with Arvind Kejriwal at the Ramlila ground. The list of ministers include Arvind Kejriwal (Chief Minister), Manish Sisodia (Deputy Chief Minister), and ministers Jitendra Tomar, Satyendra Jain, Gopal Rai, Sandeep Kumar and Asim Ahmed Khan.
Arvind Kejriwal’s new cabient in Delhi may consists of several new MLAs. The famous people who are not joining the cabinet team this time and had served as ministers in the previosu 49 day AAP government are Somnath Bharti and Rakhi Bidlan.
This time, Satyendra Jain only will be the minister from the previously served list, and all the remaining are first time MLAs. Gandhian activist and Kejriwal’s ‘Guru’ Anna Hazare declined the invitation of AAP to be present on the occasion of oath ceremony. In the elections, the Congress and BJP faced crushing defeats. AAP has won 67 seats in 70 seats Delhi Assembly, leaving just 3 for BJP and a blank for Congress.
