The ruling YSRCP government is all set to form Narasarao pet district with several mandals as per the limits of Lok Sabha constituency. Proposed district will have about 7 Assembly constituencies under its purview. As the Government is committed to form new districts as per the division of Lok Sabha constituencies, it will be realised as per the data of MP constituencies.

District Capital: Narasaraopet
Assembly Constituencies: Pedakurapadu, Chilakaluripet, Narasaraopet, Sattenapalli, Gurajala, Macherla and Vinukonda. All the mandals in these constituencies will comes under newly formed Narasaraopet district.
Estimated Population of the district: 15 lakhs
