Defense minister of India, Nirmala Sitharaman has met the IAF pilot wing commander Abhinandan Varthaman. Nirmala met Abhinandan and his family at RR Hospital, New Delhi. Family of Abhinandan including his wife and son also present on the occasion.
Abhinandan’s wife Tanvi Marwah and son, along with higher officials of IAF were present in the hospital room where Abhinandan is undergoing medical tests. IAS has informed that the pilot is in ‘cooling period’.
