The Transport Department of Government of Andhra Pradesh is making all the efforts to issue driving licences completely online. The public can obtain driving licence if they were trained by the recognised motor driving schools.
All the persons who have undergone driving training through driving schools can apply for driving licence online. There is no need to fill the manual application forms. Fee also can be paid online only.
Licence within 5 minutes:
The data will be integrated with Aadhaar information. The entire process of issuing driving licence will be completed within five minutes. This facility will be extended to all the companies and across the state.
Aadhaar card is mandatory:
The Transport Department of AP has made Aadhaar card mandatory to obtain driving licence. You can apply for test slot thruogh aptransport.in only if you have Aadhaar number. If you do not have Aadhaar Number, you can approach the nearest RTO office with valid address proof.
