The Government of India has announced Padma Awards for the year 2015. There are several stalwarts in the padma awards list this year. BJP senior leader and former deputy Prime minister L.K. Advani was honoured with the second highest civilian award in the country, Padma Vibhushan.
The other noted winners of padma awards will be bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, yoga guru Baba Ramdev, and south super star Rajinikanth. Panjab Chief Minister, Prakash Singh Badal is also likely to be included in the list.
Other Padma Award winners are Dilip Kumar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Salim Khan, Prasoon Joshi, Prof. David Frawley, Saina Nehwal, P.V. Sindhu, Spiritualist Sri Sri Ravisankar etc.
Economist Vivek Debroy, mediaperson, Rajat Sharma, Swapan Dasgupta, Hari Shankar Vyas, Pran, KS Bajpai, PV Rajaraman, Subash Kashyap, Shiv Nadar, TV Mohandas Pai, Shil kUmar, Anu Malik, Ravindra Jain, ISRO scientists Arunan and SK Shivkumar, etc. will be facilitated.
