PM Kisan scheme amount is being deposited in the bank accounts of farmers in Telangana State. On the first day of the scheme, it was reported that about Rs.100 crore was disbursed into the accounts of eligible farmers in the state. The amount Rs.2000 has been credited into the accounts and this will continue in a phased manner to avoid technical snags.
17.9 Lakhs Eligible Farmers in Telangana:
Government of Telangana has already sent list of eligible farmers from Telangana state for the PM Kisan scheme. Out of the total 27 lakhs farmers who have land less than 5 acres, details of 17.90 lakhs farmers have been uploaded to the website of PM Kisan at pmkisan.nic.in .
Payment for 5 lakhs farmers:
On the first day of first phase of PM Kisan scheme, 5 lakhs farmers in Telangana have received Rs.2000 each through their bank accounts. All the eligible farmers will get the money within a week.
SMS to mobile:
The farmers will get SMS message once the money is deposited into their accounts. The message will be sent by the ministry of agriculture, Government of India confirming the receipt of amount.
In case of non-receipt of money into the account after the receipt of confirmation message, farmers can contact agriculture extension officer concerned. They will check the details and rectify the problem.
