Government of India has rolled out second phase of PM KISAN (PM Kisan Samman Nidhi on 6th March 2019. About Rs 152 crore will be transferred directly to the bank accounts of 7.6 lakh farmers in the second phase of the scheme. Eligible farmers can check the bank accounts.
Check Payment Status – PM Kisan Second Phase:
The state governments have send the data of eligible farmers to the central government to implement PM Kisan Scheme. In the first phase, Central Government has disbursed / transferred Rs 118.20 crore to 5.9 lakh farmers across the country. Government has not set up any mechanism to check the payment status online by the farmers at pmkisan.nic.in . They have to check the bank accounts for the payment status deposited amount.

No need of Aadhaar:
The Government of India has waived off Aadhaar seeding process for the second installment of PM Kisan scheme. The farmers need not worry about linking of Aadhaar and bank accounts. PM Kisan is aimed at providing financial assistance to small and marginal farmers.
Aadhaar from third installment:
The Government has originally planned second installment in April 2019. The election schedule may be released any time in the second week of March 2019. It appears that the Government came out with second installment considering release of election schedule.
It is also mentioned by the Central Government that the Aadhaar linking with bank accounts of farmers will be made mandatory from third installment.
