Perni Nani (Venkata Ramaiah) is a Congress leader (as on 1st June 2012) from Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh. He is representing Bandar (Machilipatnam) Assembly Constituency. He won from Bandar constituency in 2004 and 2009 Assembly elections. He supported YSR Congress Party and YS jagan Mohan Reddy initially and decided to continue with the Congress Party later. He resigned to the Congress Party and to his MLA post in 2011 citing the reason of decreasing land allotment to Bandar Port from 6000 acres to 2000 acres. But it was rumored at that time he may join in YSR Congress. The Congress party was managed to pacify him temporarily.
