Shivrajsingh Chouhan is the present Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh and set to retain the post with latest Assembly elections in 2013. He belongs to BJP. Shivraj Singh Chouhan studied M.A. (Philosophy) from the Barkatullah University (Bhopal). He was elected to the MP State Assembly from Budhni Constituency in 1990.
Chouhan has became the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh as he was the state BJP President in 2005. He contested a by-election from Budhni assembly constituency. He led the BJP to power in 2008 Assembly elections and sworn in as CM for his second term. It will be the hatrick for Chouhan if he retain power in 2013 elections.
