Protection of AP Depositors – Registration for Agri Gold Deposit Scam Victims

Updated February 2019: Agri Gold case is moving in the positive direction. The CID department has started collecting the data of small depositors to disburse the repayment. Depositors have to register themselves on the website www.protectionofapdepositors.com OR alternatively they can submit the zerox copies of deposits / bonds for verification.

Death of Depositors:

The AP Government has also accepted to pay the deposit amount to the kin of depositors in case of death of original depositor. The family members have to provide death certificate and affidavits in such cases. They also need to submit the copies of deposits at the special counters.

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has finally come up with a solution to Agri Gold deposits scam. The depositors can register themselves through the website www.protectionofapdepositors.com . About 10 lakhs depositors have registered their details and another 10 lakhs depositors will be there in the scheme.

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has informed all the depositors to attend at Mandal centers with Agri Gold bonds and passbooks. The details will be taken by the Government and final list will be submitted to the court.

Agri Gold Helpline Numbers for Telangana Depositors

The verification of bonds and passbooks will commence from 12th October 2017. The Agrigold has collected deposits from 32 lakhs depositors across 8 states. About 20 lakhs depositors are from AP who have deposited about Rs. 4000 crores.

The Government of AP and CID department have jointly organised the registration process of depositors. The entire process will take about a month. The depositors have to attend with original bonds, receipts, bank pass book and copy of aadhaar card.
