Rs.50000 by Delhi Govt for Covid Victims Families – Apply Online at MCPASY Scheme Portal

Delhi Government is all set to launch a financial assistance program for covid victims families in the state. The Government will give Rs.50000 as one time assistance under Mukhyamantri COVID-19 Pariwar Aarthik Sahayata Yojana (MCPASY). The scheme will be launched on 29th June 2021 by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

About MCPASY:

The scheme Mukhyamantri COVID-19 Pariwar Aarthik Sahayata Yojana was announced by Kejriwal on May 18 to give an ex-gratia of Rs 50,000 for corona hit families. The victim families can apply for assistance through official portal.

Social Welfare Department of Delhi has already notified the scheme and getting ready to implement once the portal is ready. The scheme also provides an additional Rs 2,500 per month as pension if the deceased was the sole breadwinner.

Children who lost their one or both parents due to Corona will also be provided Rs 2,500 per month till they attain the age of 25 years. Delhi government will provide free education to such children.

How to apply:

Eligible people can apply online through MCPASY portal. Officials of the government will visit residences of the people who were not able to apply through the portal due to various reasons.
