Telangana Government is all set to launch yet another popular programme related to the welfare of farmers in the state. Rythu Bima bonds will be distributed to the eligible farmers from 6th August 2018 across the state. The details of the scheme are as follows:
Kanti Velugu from 15th August 2018:
Along with Rythu Bima scheme, the state government is proposed to launch Kanti Velugu scheme to distribute spectacle free of cost to the needy on 15th August 2018, to mark Independence Day.
Kanti Velugu camps will begin on Independence Day across the state. Rythu Bima is said to be first of its kind programme in the country. Rythu Bima bond papers will be distributed to the farmers in all the villages.
Insurance Cover from 14th August Midnight:
Insurance coverage under Rythu Bima scheme is applicable from 14 August 2018 midnight. Under the scheme, if any farmer dies of natural death or accidental death, the nominee would get Rs. 5 lakh. All the beneficiaries under Rythu Bandhu Scheme would be covered in Rythu Bima scheme also.
