With Assembly and Lok Sabha elections 2019 are round the corner, TDP Government in Andhra Pradesh is rolling out welfare schemes for the farmers and poor. Rythu Raksha is the new scheme in AP aimed at providing input subsidy to the farmers of AP.
Money into bank accounts:
The Government is proposed to credit the amount of Rythu Raksha scheme into the bank accounts of eligible farmers. Along with owners of lands, tenants also will be eligible under this scheme. GO with clear guidelines will be issued by the Government soon.
Guidelines to be finalised:
Rythu Raksha scheme is likely to be implemented from the next kharif season. The detailed guidelines of the scheme will be discussed and finalised by the cabinet meeting on 21st January 2019.
The scheme will be implemented in a phased manner. The Government is collecting the date of tenant farmers. First phase of Rythu raksha scheme will be announced shortly.
Apart from Rythu Raksha scheme, AP Government is also proposed to roll out several other schemes to gain the votes in the coming elections. The TDP and other parties have already started campaign for the elections 2019.
