Rajasthan, which did not elect a single political party in two consecutive terms for power in the past 20 years is likely to continue the trend. The exit polls of Rajasthan Assembly elections 2018 have predicted comfortable win for the opposition, Congress party.
Republic TV buck the trend:
Among 10 national media and survey groups, only Republic TV – Jan Ki Baat survey was in favour of ruling BJP. All other surveys, Times Now – CNX, Republic TV – C Voter, ABP News – CSDS, First India Rajasthan, News X – NETA, India TV – CNX, News 24 – Pace Media, News Nation, India Today – Axis My India are in favour of Congress winning majority seats in Rajasthan.
Sachin Pilot to be CM:
Sachin Pilot, the PCC president of Rajasthan Congress and former union minister is in the race for Chief Minister post if Congress win in Rajasthan. Ashok Gehlat, former CM and senior Congress leader may also be in the race but Rahul Gandhi is likely to take the decision in favour of Sachin Pilot.
