The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has introduced Sudarshan Token System to reduce the waiting time for pilgrims coming for Sarvadarsanam, Special Darshan and other paid darshans and sevas. The TTD has made arrangements to issue Sudarshna Tokens at free of cost and some tokens with Rs. 50 per person / pilgrim. Pilgrims can avail Sudarshan Tokens at free of cost from the following places in and around major bus stations and railway stations. TTD shall issued one ticket per one person in order to track the number of pilgrims. They will issue about 7500 tokens per day, out of which 2500 tokens are issued free of cost and 5000 tokens at the cost of Rs. 50 each. Tokens will issued from 5 AM everyday.
Following are the places where free tokens and Rs. 50 tokens are available:
1. Second Choultry (behind the Railway Station)
2. Bhudevi Complex
3. Alipiri Tollgate,
4. Sreenivasam in Tirupati.
Pilgrims can obtain Rs.50/- Sudarshan tokens at following places also:
1. TTD Information centre ,Renigunta (opposite to the Renigunta Railway Station)
2. Srivari Sannidhi
3. RTC Bus stand in Tirupati.
The time of the darshan will be indicated on the tokens. All those taken these tokens have to enter the Vaikuntam Queue Complex at Tirumala as per the time mentioned on the tokens. They are most likely to have darshan within two hours after entering into the Queue Complex. TTD has introduced this Sudarshan to leave pilgrims enough time to visit other temples in the nearby areas such as Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple at Tiruchanur, Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swami Temple at Srinivasa Mangapuram and Sri Govindarajaswami Temple and Kapila Teertham at Tirupati.
TTD also issued some precautions for pilgrims regarding sudarshan tokens. Pilgrims are requested to take tokens only from TTD- run counters. Tokens issued by others may not be valid and you are not allowed to exchange tokens.
