Syed Shuja is in the news for his wild allegations on EVM tampering in elections in India. He made huge allegations of rigging in lok sabha elections in 2014 and also assembly elections in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh. All these elections were won by BJP. The allegations made by Syed Shuja made him popular overnight.

Shuja is a Hyderabad based cyber expert. His education, family and personal details are not known to anybody. He claimed his expertise in designing EVMs several times. He claimed that he has worked in ECIL and participated in the team that designed EVMs in 2014. But there are several questions regarding his credentials. He has never attempted to demonstrate the possible hacking of EVMs.
The present claims also not substantiated by Shed Shuja. He made just allegations through Skype conference and linked deaths of Gopinath Munde, an NIA official and Gouri Lankesh with the EVM tampering issue.
Following are the allegations of Syed Shuja:
1) Lok Sabha elections 2014 and Assembly elections in Gujarat, UP and Maharashtra were rigged through EVMs.
2) Gopinath Munde, a BJP leader from Maharashtra, NIA officer Tanzil Ahmed and journalist Gauri Lankesh were killed as they are aware of the EVMs rigging.
3) Kapil Sibal was indirectly responsible for rigging through EVMs as his ministry in 2014 approved purchase of parts of EVMs.
4) AAP won 2015 elections in Delhi after Shuja and his team stopped EVMs hacking.
5) Anil Ambani led Reliance Communications has helped BJP to hack EVMs in its favour.
After the media conference, Shuja told that he would like to share the evidence with media. But he did not disclose any thing on paper during his interaction with media.
