Though TDP leader, Chandrababu Naidu maintained restraint in openly opposing Telangana state formation, the ground realities seems to be different for the party in Telangana.
The fast changing developments in Telangana TDP should be a major worry and concern for Chandrababu, if he wants to keep the steam in the party at least till the elections 2014.
The TDP may also be in an favourable position after KCR ruling out TRS merger with the Congress party. The split in positive vote may benefit the TDP to some extent. There is no factors like anti incumbency in Telangana. Only pro-Telangana parties have to share the votes and seats, where TDP will be lagging behind others.
