Elections results of Telangana will be announced on 16th May 2014. The counting will start at 7 AM and the first results is likely to come out at 8 AM. There are 119 Assembly seats in Telangana State.
The exit polls have predicted a slight margin for the TRS party over Congress Party. The TRS may get the chance to form first government in new state of Telangana.
The Congress, on the other hand kept ts hopes on hung assembly alive and held consultations with AIMIM and Left Parties. The exit polls have predicted 40 – 50 assembly seats to the Congress party in Telangana.
The TDP – BJP combine may end somewhere around 15-20 seats. The TRS, expected to be front runner in the elections may have bright chances of victory and may emerge as single largest party, if the mandate is split.
