Telangana Jana Samiti – TJS Party by Prof Kodandaram, Flag, Symbol and Manifesto

Here comes another new political party in Telangana State. Prof. M. Kodandaram, chairman of TJAC (Telangana Joint Action Committee) and a retired professor of political scinece from Osmania University has launched new party with the name, Telangana Jana Samiti (TJS).

Telangana Jana Samithi aimed at dethroning TRS Government led by KCR. It is yet to announce its political alliances and strategies for the elections.

The TJAC has been in the forefront of Telangana separate statehood movement, along with TRS, the party of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. TJAC played key role in the movement from 2009 to 2014.

Kodandaram was ignored by TRS leadership after the formation of Telangana State. He did not get any nominated post from the TRS Government. Kodandaram has been trying to protect the identity of JAC and finally floated a political party to fight against TRS government.

Flag and Election Symbol:

The Election Commission has granted permission to Telangana Jana Samiti (TJS). Kodandaram has informed that TJS party flag would be unveiled on April 4, 2018. A public meeting will be organised on April 29 in Hyderabad to mark the formation of TJS. TJS has applied for auto symbol for elections. The party flag also will be finalised soon.
