Previous Updates:
1) Three new districts will be formed around Hyderabad City. The sub urban areas of Hyderabad will be joined in these new districts. Vikarabad district will be formed as center of Rangareddy district. Chevella, Bhuvanagiri or Bibinagar, Shadnagar will be new districts. Old Hyderabad district will be continued.
2) Hyderabad and Rangareddy: Old Hyderabad district will be continued. New district will be formed with Chevella as center.
3) Mahaboobnagar: Shadnagar, Wanaparthy and Nagarkurnool will be new districts.
4) Nalgonda district: Bhuvanagiri or Bibinagar and Suryapet will become new districts.
5) Karimnagar: Another district with Jagityal as center.
6) Adilabad: New district with Mancheryal as center.
7) Medak: New district with Medak and Sangareddy as centers.
8) Nizamabad: New district with Kamareddy as center.
9) Khammam: Another district with Kothagudem as center.
10) Warangal: Though there are proposals to split the district, the committee did not find the feasible center to be developed as new district. It is proposed to join Janagama in Siddipet and Bhuvanagiri district, Dornakal in Khamman district and to continue Warangal district with the remaining area.
