The Government of Telangana has launched new website for Registrations and Stamps Department. The department has also made several reforms with regard to the registration of properties. Now the registration slots can be booked through online using the Registrations and stamps department website at http://registration.telangana.gov.in .
The salient feature of the renovated website is the pre slot booking for the registrations of properties. The idea is introduced at two sub registrar offices on pilot basis. These are Bowenpalli and Marredpalli SROs. The same will be extended to other SROs after the review of the project.
With the slot booking method, the users / property buyers and other people who have work at SROs can enter the details of date and timings and required registered document. They can attend the SRO (registrar office) at that time and need not wait for hours. The users can book the slot from any internet center / from home.
The concerned department will send SMS alerts on status of registration. These will be auto – generated and sent to parties’ mobile numbers. This will avoid the middlemen. The slot booking system is available from 8.00 am to 2.30 pm at Bowenpalli SRO and from 2.30 to 9.00 pm at Marredpalli SRO.
