Is the Congress party going to become a history in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh and the aftermath developments are indicating that the party with 130 years history is no longer relevant in the politics of both the new states.

It is concluded by many that the Congress party may not exist in Seemandhra region at least for the coming 20 years.
The decision taken by K Chandrasekhar Rao of the TRS to go alone for the polls in Telangana almost spoiled the Congress chances of returning to power in this region. The Congress high command seems to be short of reading the mind of KCR and Seemandhra voters.
