Immigration and Customs Enforcement Department of United States has created a separate hotline to help the Indian students on the back of shut down of Tri-Valley University (TVU), San Francisco. It is learnt that more than 100 students from Andhra Pradesh landed in trouble as Tri valley closed operations after the US Authorities probe into fraud and malpractices by TVU through offering Immigration Visas more than it was permitted to issue.

TVU Students, those would like to approach the USA authorities for any help regarding the immigration related issues could now call US Local number 415-844-5320. Students can also write the email at sfrhsifraud@dhs.gov

Students are requesting the American Government to permit them to take admissions in other universities, as they would not like to be deported to Andhra Pradesh. The Govt. of Andhra Pradesh and Govt. of India are trying to pursue the issue with US Authorities to allow the students to take admission in other universities or colleges with the help of US Government.

In the meantime, a news report telecasted by local channel TV9 screening the visuals of students who were tagged with electronic equipment attracted big criticism from various official and civil groups.
