Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed all his colleagues in the ministry and offices to shift their activities to Vijayawada. Naidu has announced that Vijayawada would be the temporary capital for AP till the decision on the capital city is taken by the Government.
Chandrababu Naidu has ordered that the offices of all the HoD should be shifted near to the Gannavaram Airport. The ordered the officials to search for available buildings in and around Gannavaram and make sufficient arrangements to run the government.
AP Chief Minister has ordered to consider Medha building near Gannavaram Airport for the time being. Chandrababu Naidu has met the Sivarama Krishnan Committee and expressed his opinion on the temporary capital.
He expressed his opinion on the would be capital city of Andhra Pradesh. He opined that the new capital for AP should be world class in standards and must attract the tourists across the globe.
