Visakhapatnam Metro Rail New Corridor from Anakapalli to Bhogapuram

AP Government has cancelled the previous tenders of Metro Train Project in Visakhapatnam, proposed new executive capital of the state. The Government has also added new corridors in the project. The metro train corridor has been extended to a greater extent as Visakhapatnam is the proposed executive capital of Andhra Pradesh.

Anakapalli to Bhogapuram:

Government has proposed new metro train corridor from Anakapalli to Bhogapuram connecting international air port. The extent of the project is increased.

Earlier AP Government has proposed Metro Train project from Steel Plant to Kommadi to an extent of 42.55 KMs. New proposal of metro train from Anakapalli to Bhogapuram will have a corridor of 140 KMs.

The new cost estimation of the project is Rs.8300 crore. Only one company, ESSEL Infra Projects of Subhash Chandra of ZEE Group has filed bids for the Visakha metro project. Amaravati Metro Rail Project (AMRP) has prepared new DPR for the project.
