About the Scheme: On 12th July 2019, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the current Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh announced the YSR Housing Scheme 2020 for the citizens of Andhra Pradesh. This scheme focuses on providing a safe pucca house to live in for the weaker sections of the society. The YSR Housing Scheme 2020 consists of two schemes which are YSR Urban Housing Scheme and YSR Economic Weaker Sections Housing.

Three Districts:
15 lakh new houses will be constructed at the location of Visakhapatnam, Kurnool and Nellore districts for the people. As per the information these houses contain a bedroom, kitchen, living room, toilet, and veranda without compromising the quality of the construction material.
Eligibility Requirements:
Only the permanent citizens of the state who don’t possess any hose or land e can apply for this scheme. It is also mandatory to have a caste certificate along with Above Poverty Line or Below Poverty Line ration card.
Various documents required are: Aadhaar Card of the applicant, Address Proof, Bank Account, Passbook. Domicile certificate, Income Certificate, Mobile Number and Original Photograph.
