Though it is much subdued over his so many previous centuries, Sachin's 100th Century against Bangladesh Cricket Team on 16th March 2012 as part of Asia Cup 2012 has some thing to celebrate by his fans across the world. Sachin Tendulkar became the only cricketer to score 100 centuries in International cricket (Tests and One Day Internationals together). Sachin has scored a slower 114 run century (faced 147 balls) against Bangladesh in the Asia Cup match. It took more than a year for Sachin Tendulkar to register this much awaited knock. He scores 51 hundreds in Tests and 49 centuries in ODIs as on date.

Tendulkar's 100th century is also his 49th 100 in One Day Internationals. This was his 462nd ODI. He has played 651st International matches so far.
