2 Bed Room House Scheme in Telangana – Applications and Guidelines and Selection

There is huge rush for two bed room housing scheme in Telangana, particularly in Hyderabad. The Government of Telangana is implementing 2 BHK Housing Scheme for the poor and needy to fulfill the dreams of owning a house of the citizens of Hyderabad / Telangana. Following are guidelines and application procedure for two bed housing scheme in Hyderabad and other cities / towns in Telangana.

The beneficiary should be from BPL family with valid food security card with a number on his / her name or spouse name. The house will be sanctioned in the name of the female (wife) of the family.

The people belong to houseless families and families living presently in Katcha houses, huts or rented houses can apply for the two bed room houses under this scheme.

The district minister, MLA of the respective Assembly Constituency will sanction the total number of Two Bed Room Houses in 50 : 50 ratio and also furnish the list of eligible beneficiaries.

The applications should be submitted to the District Collector concerned. The preliminary scrutinised list of the applicants will be forwarded to the Tahasildar / MRO of the Mandal for the verification. The eligibility list will be sent to the District Collector by MRO after verification. Thousands of applications are being received by Collectors and MROs these days in Hyderabad.
