Government of Telangana has revamped zonal system and created new zones and multi zones for employees recruitment. There will be 7 zones and 2 multi zones as per the latest proposals of the Government of TS. The new zonal system will be taken into consideration for employee recruitment, promotions and transfers.
Proposed new zones and multi zones in TS:
Zone I – Kaleshwaram: Kumram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalapally districts (Population 28,29,615 lakh)
Zone II – Basara: Adilabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial districts (Population 39,74,829 lakh)
Zone III – Rajanna: Karimnagar, Siddipet, Rajanna Siricilla, Kamareddy, Medak districts (Population 43,09,866 lakh)
Zone IV – Bhadradri: Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Mahabubabad, Warangal Urban, Warangal Rural districts (Population 50,44,844 lakh)
Zone V – Yadadri: Suryapet, Nalgonda,Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Jangaon districts (Population 40,23,800 lakh)
Zone VI – Charminar: Medchal-Malkajigiri, Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Sangareddy districts (Population 1,03,57,289 lakh)
Zone VII – Jogulamba: Vikarabad, Mahabubnagar, Jogulamba Gadwal, Wanaparthy, Nagarkurnool districts (Population 44,63,431 lakh)
Multi Zone 1: Kaleswaram, Basara, Rajanna and Bhadradri
Multi Zone 2: Yadadri, Charminar and Jogulamba.
The Telangana Government will take the feedback from employees and the final proposals will be sent to the Centre for President of India’s assent. The new system is aims at easing the issue of transfers.
