The Congress Party has almost finalized the list of candidates for various constituencies that are going for bye polls in May – June 2012. The party has almost screened and short listed the candidates for 14 Assembly Constituencies. The Congress high command has already announced the candidature of T Subbarami Reddy for Nellore Lok Sabha Constituency. The Congress Party is likely to announce the list of candidates officially in a few days. Following is the probable list of Congress Candidates for various Assembly Constituencies:
1) Narsannapet: Dharmana Ramdas
2) Ramachandrapuram: Thota Trimurthulu
3) Polavaram: Bojji Dora
4) Narsapuram: Kottapalli Subbarayudu
5) Prattipadu: TJR Sudhakarbabu
6) Udayagiri: Kambham Vijayaramireddy
7) Tirupati: Venkataramana
8) Kodur: Easwaraiah
9) Rajampet: Meda Mallikharjuna Reddy
10) Allagadda: Gangula Pratapa Reddy
11) Emmiganuru: Rudra Goud
12) Anantapur: Subba REddy
13) Rayadurgam: Patil Venugopal Reddy
14) Ongole: Manthri Srinivas / Magunta Parvathamma
Candidates for other four constituencies: The candidates for Parakal, Payakraopet, Rayachoti and Maherla are yet to be finalized by the Congress party. Ram Prasad Reddy is likely to be fielded from Rayachoti Constituency. Other leading parties Telugu Desam and YSR Congress Party also announce the candidates officially soon after the announcement by party in power.
