The Government of Andhra Pradesh has decided to complete the draft master plan of new capital city for the state of Andhra Pradesh by June 2015. The state minister of urban development P. Narayana has informed that the Capital City Master Plan for AP would be ready by the middle of the year.
The Government has already initiated land pooling for the capital region development under the aegis of CRDA. The government has appointed more than 100 deputy collectors for the CRDA and land pooling activities.
The Chandrababu Naidu administration seems committed to shift most of the administration activity from Hyderabad to CRDA region very soon. All the departments may be shifted to Mangalagiri temporarily for the convenience of governance.
The Government has issued all the relevant GOs for land pooling activity. The foundation stone for the construction of AP Assembly and Secretariat and other departments may be laid by CM, Chandrababu Naidu in June 2015. The land pooling orders in Thullur mandal have been issued by concerned deputy collectors / tahasildars. Thullur mandal will be the center of the capital city of AP.
