Andhra Pradesh, after bifurcation in 2014 has only 25 Lok Sabha constituencies. Telangana has remaining 15 Lok Sabha constituencies. In Andhra Pradesh, the ruling TDP and opposition YSRCP have fierce competition to secure MP seats in 2019 elections.
In the present 16th Lok Sabha, TDP has 15 members. BJP, the TDP’s ally at the time of 2014 elections has won in 2 lok sabha seats. These are Visakhapatnam and Narsapuram, represented by K Haribabu and Gokaraju Ganga Raju respectively.
YSRCP candidates have won in 8 Lok Sabha segments. Some of the YSRCP Members, Butta Renuka and Kothapalli Geetha have expressed their loyalty towards TDP. Congress did not won any seat in 2014 elections. Following is the complete list of Lok Sabha members from AP as on 16 April 2018.
