Government of Andhra Pradesh is proposed to complete the process of implementation of loan waiver scheme by December 2018. 4th and 5th round release of money for Runa Mafi Scheme require Rs.8100 crore and the Government is mobilizing resources. Details of beneficiaries of 4th and 5th phases of crop and gold loan waiver scheme will be displayed on APCBS portal.

TDP Government has implemented crop loan waiver scheme as part of its election manifesto. Agriculture and gold loans worth less than Rs.1.5 lakhs have been waived by the banks, as per the directions of the Government.
4th and 5th Phases:
The loans have been waived off in a single phase. But the disbursal of money to banks by the Government has been initiated in five equal phases or installments. Three phases are already completed and 4th and 5th phases of disbursal are in pending.
Loans from Banks:
The Government has already paid loan waiver amounts of first three phases to banks. Ironically, Government has taken loans from banks to pay the loans of farmers with the same banks.
