Kalvakuntla Kavitha (K.Kavitha) is an MP from Nizamabad Lok Sabha Constituency in Telangana State. She is the daughter of Telangana Chief Minister and TRS Chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR). Kavitha has been active in telangana agitation and played important role as the president of Telangana Jagruthi, a cultural arm of TRS Party. Following is the profile / biodata of Kavitha.
Kavitha was born in 1978. She studied in Stanley Girls High School. Kavitha did her Graduation from VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology (VNRVJIET). Kavitha completed her Masters from an American University in 2001. She has a brother, KTR, Minister of IT in Telangana Government.
Kavitha has been active in politics for about half a decade. She was elected to 16th Lok Sabha from Nizamabad Constituency, defeating Madhu Yashki Goud of the Congress party with a huge margin.
Kavitha was married to Devanpalli Anil and they have two sons, Aditya and Aarya. Kavitha landed in a huge controversy recently for her comments on equating Telangana with the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
