KTR (K. Taraka Ramarao) is a Minister for Information Technology in first Government of Telangana State headed by his father, K. Chadra Sekhar Rao. Following is the biodata / profile of KTR and his wife Shailima. KTR and Shailima have two children, Himanshu and Alekhya.
KTR has completed his schooling from St. Georges Grammar School, Abids, Hyderabad. He completed his 10+2 from Vignan Junior College, Vadlamudi, Guntur. KTR has a B.Sc. in Microbiology from Nizam College, Hyderabad. He has a a Sister, Kavitha, Nizamabad MP and equally active in Politics.
He studied M.Sc Biotechnology from University of Pune and again received MBA (Marketing and E-Commerce) from City University of New York. KTR Started working in US and served as project manager at INTTRA Inc.
He started his political career in 2006. He actively participated in several agitations of TRS and played a crucial role in presenting the Telangana cause at National level. He is very articulate and good in debating skills.
KTR is a wonderful person and a very,very down to earth character accessible to anybody who approaches him.He is helpful,magnanimous and always willing to help people in distress.As manager of sbi in his constituency,I tried my best to meet him and say hello but failed in my efforts because wherever he goes,he is surrounded by a mob.I wish him the very best in future and pray that once KCR plunges into national politics,KTR becomes the CM of Telangana.The new state is assured of excellent growth and prosperity if my prayer is answered.
