The TDP (Telugu Desam Party) government in Andhra Pradesh has announced Muchyamanthri – Yuvanestham scheme to support unemployed youth in the state through special allowance (Nirudhyoga Bhruthi). The cabinet has approved the scheme and the implementation process will commence sooon.
Rs. 1000 Allowance:
Under this scheme each eligible unemployed youth will get Rs. 1000 per month as allowance. The amount will be directly credited into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. Main eligibility / qualification for the scheme is pass in any degree or polytechnic courses from a recognised institute / college.
Registration Process:
The beneficiary registration process will start from 3rd or 4th week of August 2018. The Government will conduct a survey to identify the beneficiaries. Age should be between 22-35 years. The scheme is implemented on par with the present social pension scheme.
Registration within 15 days:
Unemployment allowance will be given to all the beneficiaries irrespective of number of beneficiaries in a single family. Registrations will be accepted online only.
Integration with Aadhaar:
Beneficiaries of Chief Minister Yuva Nestham scheme will be integrated with Aadhaar number. The allowance will be credited into the accounts within 15 days after the registration. The Government has estimated that the scheme would cost about Rs. 8000 crores per annum.
