Corona Zones in AP – Red, Orange and Green Districts

Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India has released the list of corona red zones, orange zones and green zones in Andhra Pradesh. Kurnool, Guntur and Krishna districts are in hotspots category with red zone restricitons. Following are details of zones in AP. Lockdown relaxations are applicable as per the categorisation of zones:

Corona Red Zones in AP: Kurnool, Krishna, Guntur, Nellore and Chittoor districts.

Corona Orange Zones in AP: Ananthapur, East Godavari, West Godavari, Kadapa, Prakasam, Srikakulam and Visakhapatnam districts.

Green Zones in AP: Vizianagaram district.

Red zones consists of about 77 percent of total cases while orange zones have 23 percent of total cases. Srikakulam and Visakhapatnam districts have recorded lowest number of cases in orange zones. They are soon likely to be converted into green zones.
