Jana Sena Party, lead by Pawan Kalyan has released its election manifesto for the Assembly and General elections 2019. The power star has released the manifesto named as vision document at Somaramam temple in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. Following are the important promises of Jana Sena for the people.
Free Gas Supply:
1) Most important promise of Jana Sena is support to enact 33 percent reservation for women in all the legislative bodies at state and center. It also promises supply of cooking gas free of cost.
2) Scrapping of supply of ration provisions is another important one. He promised to deposit Rs. 2500 to Rs.3000 in the accounts of women instead of ration.
5 Percent increase in BC reservations:
3) BC reservations will be increased 5 percent.
4) Jana Sena will fight for the inclusion of Kapu reservations in the 9th Schedule of the Constitution. It also promises to resolve the issue of sub – categorisation of Scheduled Castes.
5) There will be separate corporation to provide financial assistance to the economically backward people in upper caste communities. Special hostels would be constructed for the students from upper caste communities.
Government Old Age Homes:
6) For minorities, Sachar committee recommendations would be implemented.
7) Jana Sena also advocated for the abolition of Contributory Pension Scheme.
8) Jana Sena also will run old age homes for elderly.
