The Employees Provident Fund Organisation, Government of India has launched the facility of checking EPF balance online on 01st July 2011. The PF Account holders across the country can check the balance in their accounts. The accounts are regularly updated and you will also find any transactions approved by concerned EPF Organisation (EPFO) such as account settlement, advances payment, transfer-in of accounts and transfer-out if any. Here is the brief procedure to check your EPF balance and claim status online through EPF website at http://www.epfindia.com/membbal.html . Account holders have to login to the EPF website of the respective state and submit the details to get the balance.
1) First, you should select the EPFO office where your account is maintained and must furnish your PF Account number without any mistake.
2) You can leave the extension field blank in case your account does not have one.
3) You should enter your name and mobile number. The mobile number you provided will be recorded along with the PF Account Number.
4) After the successful submission of all the above information, your PF account balance details will be sent through SMS to the given mobile number.
At present, EPF website has the data of 119 EPFO offices across the country in all the states. New Delhi, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Noida, Bangalore, Chennai and some cities are sending more number of queries to check EPF balance. The websites have served about 3012181 requests for balance as on 07st January 2012. To select the state and to know the establishment number of your company, you can see http://59.180.233.84/epfo/member_balance member_balance_office_select.php . Otherwise, you can directly obtain establishment number (Maximum 7 Digits) through entering details at http://epfindia.com/estt.asp .

My company (Hindustan dorr-oliver ltd, Andheri, Mumbai) has submitted the PF form on 6nd Sep, 2011 in Kandivli PF office. My pf account number is MH/210501/0046 and also got the receipt of submitting the required documents. But I have not got my pf yet since 6 months. Normal procedure to get the PF is of 3 months but I have not got PF amount yet. I need help for the same.

Myself Mr Naresh Ganpatrao Kharbade was working in Nashik,I transfer my PF of previous company (Rajashree Polyfil Bharuch , PF No:GJ/SR/31563/01049) to Nashik (PF No : MH/51252/715) on dated 27/12/2010 as per Surat PF Office detals.Surat PF office telling me that this PF is settle to Nashik PF Office.
