The election commission of India is bracing up for Lok Sabha elections 2014. The commission is likely to announce poll schedule in the last week of February or at best in the first week of March 2014.
Along with Lok Sabha, Assembly Elections for Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and Sikkim states also will be held by the election commission of India.
In all likelihood, the Parliament is likely to be convened in February 2014 to pass vote on account and some bills related to anti corruption.
There is so much anxiety and uncertainty prevailed with regard to the fate of Telangana Bill 2013. Though there is a talk of special session of parliament to pass Telangana Bill, the Congress may find it difficult to complete several formalities for the creation of a new state and to prepare itself for general elections.
There is a good chance for the Indian National Congress to keep people of Telangana guessing, the issue of bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh by dragging it beyond the General Elections 2014. However, the fact remains that it is the TRS which would gain a political mileage by winning considerable seats in Telangana districts though it can not by itself form the Government even if the AP State is divided after elections by any chance.
Thats true Srinivasa Reddy garu,
The Congress is known for these kind of tricks and digging its own grave.
It may also go for pre poll / post poll pact with TRS in such situation. The Congress game plan is not concentrated on forming the Government in the state but at the Center.
It will use all the cards to get support in the form of MP seats / alliances at ‘any cost’.
Thanks for visiting.
