Election Commission of India has released election schedule for eight MLC seats in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The notification has been released by the EC and the election will be held on 22nd March 2019 for the following constituencies. The term of the following MLC seats will be expired by 1st May 2019.
In Andhra Pradesh, election to Visakhapatnam local bodies constituency has been announced due to the death of MVVS Murthy. Other constituencies which are going for polls are as follows:
Graduate Constituencies:
1) East Godavari – West Godavari (Kalidindi Ravikiran, Chaitanya Raju, I Venkateswarao, N. Sesha Reddy, Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy, RVVM Srinivasarao, Veeravalli Srinivasarao, TK Visweswar Reddy, Pothula Venkata Viswam, Hypno Kamalakar are in the race for this constituency)
2) Krishna – Guntur (KS Lakshman Rao, Rayapati Srinivas, Pothineni Srinivas, Gottipati Ramakrishna Prasad, Dasari Raja, Brahman Chowdary are contesting for this seat)
3) Medak – Nizamabad
4) Adilabad – Karimnagar
Local Bodies Constituencies:
1) Visakhapatnam
2) Hyderabad
Teachers Constituencies:
1) Visakhapatnam – Vizianagaram – Srikakulam (Gade Srinivasulu Naidu, P. Raghu Varma and Adari Kishore Kumar are contesting for this seat)
2) Medak – Nizamabad – Adilabad – Karimnagar
3) Warangal – Khammam – Nalgonda
