The Election Commission has announced MLC elections schedule for 12 vacant seats in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council. The MLC elections for local bodies constituencies will be held on 3rd July 2015. Following is the schedule of MLA Elections 2015 in Andhra Pradesh:
1) Issue of election schedule: 9th June 2015
2) Last date for filing nominations: 16th June 2015
3) Scrutiny of nominations: 17 June 2015
4) Withdrawal of nominations: 19th June 2015
5) Polling: 3 July 2015 (8 AM to 4 PM)
6) Counting of votes and results: 7 July 2015
There are 10006 voters in the 12 local bodies constituencies in Andhra Pradesh. Six MLA seats will have six years term. The election code of conduct will come into force from 9th June 2015.
