Telugu Desam party has decided to field Nandamuri Suhasini from Kukatpally assembly constituency for Telangana assembly elections 2018. Nandamuri Suhasini is the daughter of Nandamuri Harikrishna.
Personal Details:
Suhasini got married to Srikanth. He is the son of former MP (Lok Sabha) Chundru Srihari. They belong to East Godavari district. They are settled in Hyderabad long back. Kukatpally seat was earlier offered to Nandamuri Kalyan Ram which was declined by the later.
There is huge competition for Kukatpally assembly seat among aspirants. The seat will be allocated to the TDP as part of the grand alliance among the TDP and Congress parties.

Krishna Rao from TRS:
TRS has announced incumbent MLA Madhavaram Krishna Rao as its candidate. Krishna Rao won the seat in 2014 on TDP ticket and later shifted loyalties to TRS. He managed to get the seat again despite dissent within the party.
E Peddi Reddy of TDP has been in the limelight as TDP candidate. Mandadi Srinivasarao also emerged as strong contender for Kukatpally ticket from TDP. Both of these have already started campaign for the election.
It is learned that the TDP high command has asked both Peddi Reddy and Mandadi Srinivasarao to stop campaign in the constituency as it is considering the candidature of Nandamuri Suhasini.
NTR family and actors, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Junior NTR and Kalyan Ram are likely to campaign for Nandamuri Suhasini. TDP is also trying to send signals of family unity on the occasion of elections.
