The Government of Telangana is proposed to set up new IT parks in and around Hyderabad. The Government is keen on developing IT sector in Hyderabad as the proposed ITIR (Information Technology Investment Region) project is getting delayed for various reasons. The proposed IT Parks will be developed around the growth corridor of Outer Ring Road (ORR).
About 11 new IT parks will come up in Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts with complete support from the Government of Telangana. Each IT park will have at least 50 acres of land. The land pooling will be completed by 2nd June 2016.
The new places identified suitable for IT parks are land belongs to tourism department in Budvel mandal of Rajendranagar mandal, HMDA, VDOTS and Valantari lands. About 84 acres of tourism department lands will be handed over to the Government.
Other locations for new IT parks are at Premavatipet, Himayat Sagar, Kismatpur, Miyapur, Puppalaguda, Dundigal, Bowrampet and Bachupalli. Apart from these, lands at Ameenpur, Kollur, Osman Sagar, Eedulanagulapalli and Patti Ghanpur also identified as suitable for IT parks.
