Chief Electoral Officer, Telangana has informed that the Election Commission is conducting a special drive for the enrollment of voters in Telangana. If you are completing the age of 18 years as on 1st January 2018, you can enroll as a voter in the electoral rolls. The last date for the enrollment is 25th September 2018.
Form 6:
If you are completing 18 years age by 1st January 2018, you need to fill Form 6 to enroll as a voter for the first time. Form 6 is also used to change the constituency. For this, you have to submit latest photo, date of birth certificate, or declaration by the parents.
Form 8:
To change any details in the voter card, like name / father name / husband name / spouse name etc, Form 8 has to be filled and submitted to the Ward Officer.
Form 8A:
Form 8A has to be submitted to change the residential address in the same constituency. If you change the house / residence within same Assembly constituency, then you have to submit form 8A.
Check your name in voter list:
Telangana voters can check their vote status online through www.ceotelangana.nic.in . Details of your name, father / husband / spouse / polling center are available on the website. If you did not find your name in the latest list, you need to submit relevant form to include your name in the voter list.
