Dharmana Krishna Das is an MLA and Minister in YS Jagan cabinet in Andhra Pradesh. He was elected to AP assembly in 2019 elections from Narasannapet constituency of Srikakulam district. He is inducted into AP cabinet ans allocated portfolio of Roads and Buildings.
A follower of YS Jagan:
Krishnadas is a staunch follower of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy after the death of YS Rajasekhar Reddy. Krishna Das elected to AP assembly in 2004 and 2009 elections on Congress party ticket.
Krishnadas, elected from Narasannapeta as an MLA joined the YSRCP in 2012 after quitting the Congress party. He lost the election in 2014 to YSRCP and later joined in YSRCP.
Krishna das quit both the Congress Party and the State Assembly after the death of Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy and joined YSRCP. He fought the by-elections for YSRCP and was the first YSRCP MLA to be elected from Srikakulam district.
Krishnadas is the brother of Dharmana Prasada Rao, a senior leader of Congress in the past and now with YSRCP. He served in YS Rajasekhar Reddy cabinet but stayed with the Congress for sometime before joining YSRCP.
