The TRS (Telangana Rashtra Samiti) has announced the name of Pasunuri Dayakar as its candidates for Warangal Lok Sabha by elections 2015. The Chief Minister and President of TRS, K Chandrasekhar Rao has finalized his name after so much exercise.
Pasunuri Dayakar is an artist who participated in the Telangana movement since 2001. It was observed that KCR has kept the name of Gudimalla Ravikumar aside after controversies over his caste. Following is the brief profile of Pasunuri Dayakar.
Dayakar is born in Bollikunta village of Sangem mandal in Warangal district of Telangana. He is actively working in TRS party since its inception. He served as General Secretary of the TRS for Warangal district, District President of TRS Youth wing and State Secretary of TRS.
He also served as Assembly Constituency in-charge for Vardhannapet between 2011 – 2013. He tried in wain to contest from Vardhannapet Assembly constituency during 2009 and 2014 assembly elections. Dayakar is one of the architects who framed and carved out the statue of Telangana Talli.
